Evanka’s Story

Greetings, everyone. My name is Mrs. Machingu, and my daughter, Evanka, is 7 years old and in Grade 1. We first learned about MMF in April 2024, and since then, our journey has become much easier.

In the short time we’ve been with MMF, my daughter has seen a dentist, an eye specialist, and most importantly, she had an echo scan. She may need heart surgery in January next year, and MMF has made this possible for us. She also has an upcoming checkup with a pediatric cardiologist, which we wouldn’t have been able to afford without their support.

Joining MMF has made a big difference in our lives. We’ve met other parents who understand our situation, and it’s been comforting to connect with people who truly understand what we’re going through. When negative things are said about my daughter, I’ve learned not to take them to heart.
